Victoria British Columbia’s A-Channel’s April 2008 report about REALTOR® lockbox thefts from condo buildings. Thieves can sometimes hack off the lockboxes to remove them to another location where they can spend more time to open them before returning to the condo building with the keys to the front door. Victoria Real Estate Board has developed a solution: A double-walled, hardened-steel container for the electronic lockbox that is to be permanently attached to the building at the expense of the Real Estate Board.
